Carriage „Break”, also known as „Break Van,” was a special type of vehicle that had several applications in various contexts. Initially, it was used for training carriage-horses, especially in England in the mid-19th century. It was a type of carriage that could be easily stopped („break”) in case the carriage horse started behaving nervously or needed correction. However, over time, these vehicles became popular in other applications as well. They were transformed into elegant and comfortable carriages, ideal for leisurely walks or recreational purposes. They could have also be used for transporting people over shorter distances. Currently, they are used for recreational rides or as historical vehicles in shows and parades.
